Lulu is a Scottish pop singer

Lulu is a Scottish pop singer and actress whose powerful voice and bubbly energy have kept her in the spotlight for over five decades. She rose to fame in the 1960s with the hit “Shout” at just 15.

Born in 1948, Lulu’s youthful energy and soulful voice helped her stand out among the British Invasion crowd. “To Sir With Love,” her 1967 hit from the film of the same name, became a transatlantic chart-topper.

She’s had a remarkably diverse career—performing in Eurovision (and winning in 1969 for the UK), acting in films and musicals, and collaborating with artists like David Bowie and Take That.

Her 1993 comeback duet “Relight My Fire” with Take That reintroduced her to a new generation. Always reinventing herself, she’s balanced nostalgia with fresh relevance.
